Michael P. Metke, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Michael P. Metke is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle. He continued with his medical studies at the University of Oregon Medical School where he graduated Cum Laude. His internship in General Surgery and residencies in General Surgery and Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery were completed at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.

Dr. Metke is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians, and International College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Florida Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
