Dr. Echeverria is a board-certified surgeon who obtained her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and her doctorate in pharmacology at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN.
After medical school, she completed her general surgery residency at the University of Arizona in Tuscon, AZ and her vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. During her vascular fellowship training at Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, she received training in the field of vascular and aortic disease. During her training she was active in care for both adult and pediatric patients while being involved in clinical research. She presents her work regularly at national and international meetings and symposia. Dr. Echeverria has published several scholarly articles in the fields of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Vascular Surgery and the Association of Women Surgeons.
